Bob Lossie
Bob is an Atlanta native who spent his early adulthood exploring life beyond the South. In his mid-20s, he ventured to Manhattan, where he lived for five years before settling in Connecticut. He resided there until the age of 58, building a successful business career along the way.
Throughout his life, Bob has navigated the challenges of a degenerative neurological disease that first emerged in his early teens. This condition primarily affected his gait, but through dedicated exercise and a healthy diet, he managed to keep its progression largely at bay for many years.
However, in his mid-50s, a series of hardships led Bob to neglect his personal health. Within a few short years, the disease intensified, and he lost the ability to walk unassisted. By his early 60s, Bob began using a wheelchair full-time, marking a significant turning point in his life.
Now, with renewed determination, Bob is embracing a rigorous program of physical therapy and activities. He is committed to reversing the setbacks he has experienced and regaining his strength and mobility. Bob's story is a testament to resilience and the power of the human spirit to overcome adversity.
